Kelly Sokoloski, Registered Social Worker
She/Her/Hers
Kelly believes everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, supported, and accepted without judgment. As a Registered Social Worker, she is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges while fostering resilience, self-understanding, and lasting personal growth. She believes healing happens through genuine connection and strives to create a warm, compassionate, and collaborative environment where clients feel safe to be themselves.
Kelly completed the Native Child and Family Services program at Confederation College in 2019, graduating with the Academic Award of Excellence for achieving the highest grade point average in her graduating class. During this time, she developed a deep appreciation for Indigenous cultures, traditions, and holistic approaches to wellness, which continue to influence her commitment to providing culturally safe, respectful, and client-centred care.
Kelly’s approach is collaborative, strengths-based and trauma-informed. She has experience supporting adolescents experiencing mental health concerns, complex life challenges, and suicidality, as well as adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Kelly believes therapy should reflect each person’s unique goals, values, and experiences, and works alongside clients to build practical coping strategies while recognizing and strengthening the resilience they already possess. Her practice integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Systems Theory, and mindfulness-based practices.
Kelly recognizes the connection between emotional, physical, and social well-being and values collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, client-centred care.
Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling, being near the water, staying active, and spending quality time with family and friends. She values lifelong learning and is committed to ongoing professional development so she can continue providing compassionate, evidence-informed care.
