My First Naturopathic Visit
My First Naturopathic Visit

Our receptionist will be happy to welcome you
Your first visit with one of our Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) will be 60-90 minutes, and you will have an opportunity to share your health history. We approach health care from a holistic perspective, meaning that we consider the connections between the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual issues in the lives of our patients.

We will perform any necessary physical exams and request lab testing in order to properly diagnose and treat your condition(s)Jessica.
Clear communication is important, so we encourage you to ask any questions and seek clarification on your health issues and any treatment we prescribe for you.

After your first appointment, we will do research and develop a treatment plan to recommend to you. Follow-up visits are generally 20-40 minutes, and involve the carrying out of a mutually agreed upon treatment plan.
Your treatment plan will be individualized, meaning that it has been designed specifically for your unique constellation of health concerns, and your ability to carry it out. Your treatment may involve a prescription of herbs, vitamins, minerals, a homeopathic remedy, a series of acupuncture treatments, therapeutic foods or an exercise regime.

The frequency of your follow-up appointments depends on the complexity of your health issues and a mutually agreed upon course of treatment.

Try to stay healthy... ...through the flu season.
Although you may not be able to avoid contact with viruses that cause cold and flu, you can increase your immune system's ability to fight them off. Sleep well, engage in regular exercise, eat a healthy well balanced diet rich in fruit and vegetables, reduce your stress level and wash your hands regularly. Specific nutrients and herbs such as Vitamin C, Zinc, Astragalus, and Echinacea can boost your immune system even further. See your ND for an individualized treatment plan that will be safe and effective for you! ice
